Dear friends,
On behalf of my whole family I wish to extend our most heartfelt thanks for your generosity and benevolent support during these very difficult past few weeks. Betty and I have just recently returned from Turkey where we laid Baba to rest in the ground of his homeland that he loved so much. My father was the granite monument in my life and the lives of everyone in our family. Loosing him has been quite a blow and every day is a challenge. But life is for the living; to celebrate every precious day and also to celebrate those friends of ours that provide fellowship and comfort when we need it most. Without these things we have nothing. So from the bottom of our hearts we thank all of you once again.
Sincerely,
Husam

ATA CYCLE lost its dad and master wheel builder Avni Sahin (publicly known as Baba) this morning at 4:32 am. Baba was 89 years old and has been building wheels for the Greater Boston Cycling community for years. His wheels can be seen anywhere from city commuters to racing rigs. He along with his wheels and stories will be greatly missed.
